Hello Parents,
My name is Michelle Ruby and I am the new PTA president for Poplin Elementary. I would like to take the time to tell you a little about me. I am happily married with two wonderful boys. I have lived in Matthews for thirty-four years. I am a first grade teacher at Poplin Elementary school. Teaching for the last 15 years has allowed me to be involved with the three different school PTA Organizations. You can find me in the classroom, serving on the Poplin and UCPS Globalization Committees, and throughout PTA events.
We still have opportunities open for this year that we need filled. Please take the time to think about joining us this year. Each year we have a full schedule of events going on and can not do it without you.
I look forward to serving Poplin this year and seeing new faces. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact me at michelle.ruby@ucps.k12.nc.us.
